Is there anything tastier than home-baked sourdough bread? A sourdough bread is a bread with a lovely texture, good shelf life, a lower GI (glycemic index) and without additives!
If you like to bake sourdough bread, this is a site for you. If you have never tried but am curious how to, you have lots of information and tips.
Baking sourdough bread is easier than you think. You just have to get going. A little practice and you can bake great sourdough bread.
Many refrain to bake sourdough bread because they think it is to complicated.
But I would argue that it is not harder than other baking. It takes a little more planning because it is long rising periods.
My philosophy is to try to make it as easy as possible,
all my recipes is made so that it will work well together with a full-time job.
My recipes always consists of three parts, feeding the sourdough, kneading the dough and baking. With the start of a morning on day 1, part 2 on the evening of day 1 and finishing baking in the morning on day 2.
